LG Chem has taken its Bisphenol A (BPA) unit off stream in Daesan. A source in South Korea informed a team member, “The company is heard to have halted operations at the unit around November 13, 2025. Further details on the duration of shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Daesan, South Korea, the BPA unit has a production capacity of 165,000 mt/year.
