public holidays, Asian low-density plastic-ethylene prices were deemed
stable-to-weak during the week ending May 4. According to converters,
end-product sales in Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia were slow. Due to low demand and high crude costs, PE prices have been
fluctuating for the past two months. Sources
said that trade has been extremely limited in China. China had a shortage of drivers to transport goods because
of the lockdowns. In Southeast Asia, business was slower due to Eid al Fitr. Sources said that inventories were low and import orders
