Brazil's activitySpot import PVC prices in key Latin American markets were
assessedlower week on week on Nov. 16 in the West Coast of South America
andunchanged in Brazil.On the Pacific coast of South America, PVC prices were
assessedat $750/mt CFR WCSA, down $40/mt week on week. The assessmentwas based
on multiple offers varying from $730 to $800/mt forUS material, offers from
Asia and Europe at $800-$990/mt, andColombian offers at $1,000-$1,050/mt.The
current value is at the lowest assessed value since June 3,2020, when it at
$720/mt. The lowest-ever assessedby was $600/mt on May 6, 2020.Currently,
prices are less of a major buying decision factor thanshipping, sources still
believe....
