said that spot import PVC prices in Latin American markets were flat on the
West Coast of South America on Nov. 9, and lower in Brazil. PVC prices on
the Pacific coast of South America were unchanged week-on-week at $790/mt
CFRWCSA. Two traders gave an estimate of $790/mt. The market fundamentals
were unchanged. This is the lowest value it has been since June 10, 2020
when it was $760/mt. According to a source, prices could fall further in
the future. "Two months back, I thought we had reached the bottom of
this cycle. But I was wrong. The effect of the" US Federal Reserve's
"interest rate reduction" has been far more significant...
