American markets were lower this week than they were on August 3. This was due
to the continuing downtrend in the US and Asia, which is affecting the local
markets. PVC prices on the Pacific coast of South America were
$995-1,005/mt CFRWCSA. This is $200 less than the previous week. This is
the lowest price since August 26, 2020. The WCSA price dropped $750/mt in
the second week. This is a drop of 43% in just two months. "Buyers
are asking for below $1,000/mt. No one will pay more than $1,000/mt for
