Kuwait Aromatics has shut its Paraxylene (PX) unit. A source in Kuwait informed a team member, “The company has taken the unit offstream in early January 2026. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Shuaiba, Kuwait, the PX unit has a production capacity of 870,000 mt/year.
