J-PLUS mulls turnaround at plasticizer unit

J-PLUS is in plans to shut down its plasticizers unit. A source in Japan informed a team member, “The company is expected to undertake maintenance at the unit from February 2026, which is likely to continue until April 2026.” Located in Yokkaichi, Japan, the plasticizers unit has a production capacity of 80,000 mt/year.
