Jiangsu Honggang Petrochemical has taken its No.2 Purified terephthalic acid (PTA) unit off stream in Lianyungang. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have shut the unit around November 16, 2025. Further details on the duration of shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Lianyungang, Jiangsu in China, the No.2 unit has a production capacity of 2.4 million mt/year.
