Dec. 2 saw Asian toluene prices fall in
line with upstream naphtha, and the adjacent downstream isomer-mixedxylenes
markets. The FOB
Korea marker fell $13/mt to $764/mt. This is despite an offer of $765/mt for
2,000-mt loading in January, ASTM D-841 letter of credit and an offer of
$765/mt. There were no buyers and there
weren't any trades. According to industry
sources, there were no spot negotiations and term negotiations with producers
from China, South Korea, Unv1 or China are still ongoing. Sources also said that demand was weak from South Asia and

had no demand and heard about 30kt [30,000mt] of Indians arriving in December.
