Asian toluene prices declined to softer
November 15, mainly due to the fall in crude oil futures. Sources said that
fundamentals were mostly unchanged before the 16th of November's half-month rollovers. According to industry sources, sellers were affected by the
sharp fall in crude futures prices while buyers remained cautious amid
volatility. Sources said that South Korea
and China-origin cargoes were likely to have been sold out for H1December,
which lends some support to toluene markets. An China-origin cargo was offered at $955-970/mt FOB
Maoming, December loading, for 3,000 mt at minimum 99.5% purity and letter of
