cargoesDue to weakening crude oil prices, Asian
isomer-grade mixed xylenes dropped $21.50-27.50/mt per day to $981.50-1000.50/mt
FBO Korea and $976.50-1000.50/mt CFR Taiwan. Prices remained unchanged
at $972.50-1000.50/mt CFR China as of Aug. 26. Early in the day, sources claimed that the market was still
quiet and there was little demand. Market
on Close assessed several sellers to offer September second-half cargoes. During the MOC, an H2 September cargo was traded at $976-1000/mt
FOB Korean during the MOC. The October ICE
Brent crude oil derivatives contract fell $1.49-2.50/b to $99.86-104.50/b at
4.30 pm Singapore time (0830 GMT). The
price of paraxylene fell $20-25/mt on the day to $1069.33-1100.50/mt CFR
Taiwan/China...
