Asian Iso_MX: FOB Korea up $15 as crude oil moves closer to the
surface■ PX margins worsen in the week■ US buyers express an interest in Asian cargoesAsian isomer-grade mixed xylenes rose $1/mt
on the day to $997/mt FOB Korea and at $1,000.50/mt CFR Taiwan. They were up
$6/mt at 967.50/mt CFR China on Sept. 30, as all related markets including
crude oil registered some growth. The
spread of the PXX-MX narrowed week to week from $4.83/mt down to $67/mt. FOB Korea's marker rose $14.50/mt over the week. CFR Taiwan
rose $10/mt while CFR China fell $12.50/mt from the week ending Sept. 24. Sources are predicting a bearish trend in CFR China's price

there is an increase in domestic iso-MX production capacity in China which
