$917/mt CFR China Nov. 11, as crude oil prices and paraxylene prices had been
falling for the majority of the week. The market fundamentals were boosted by the Chinese
authorities, who reduced some of China's COVID-19 restrictions by reducing the
quarantine period for international travelers and cases by two days. They also
eliminated the penalty for airlines that bring infected passengers. Isomer MX rose by $26/mt day-on-day, following paraxylene
prices which were up $25.75/mt CFR Taiwan/China at $1,018.33/mt. According to a Chinese market source, the news could
