The price of Asian isomer MX fell amid a possible US involvement in the Israel/Iran conflict within two weeks. At 3:22pm Singapore time (0722 GMT), ICE August Brent Futures Contract was down $2.12/b from its previous close of $76.73/b. Pertamina has been heard asking for spot tenders during July and August despite the usual low demand in Southeast Asia. It is not surprising that everyone wants to buy more PX in the current market, said a trader based in Asia. There is a shortage of MX in Asia and very little spot liquidity.
