was up $29/mt @ $868/mt CFR Taiwan, and up $31/mt @ $849/mt CRC China. The
improved outlook for China, which has relaxed COVID-19 restrictions, supported
prices. The spread between MX and PX fell $22.67/mt during the week, to
$114.83/mt Jan. 6. This was the lowest level since Dec. 8, when it was
$112.67/mt. The January price of East China's ex-tank cargoes was Yuan
6,880-6,900/mt. This is approximately $857/mt if you consider
import-parity. February was around Yuan 6,910-6,930/mt or
$861/mt. The FOB Korea market was supported by firmer prices. A
