Asian isomer grade mixed xylene dropped $28/ mt, to $933.50/mt FOB Korea and
$958.50/mt CFR Taiwan. On February 17, it was down $7.50/mt, at $939.50/mt CFR
China. This was due to lower upstream prices at the end the week and there were
offers in the market for March-loading cargoes. China's domestic market
remained relatively stable throughout the week. However, imports were not
possible early in the week because of the large price gap between FOB Korean
prices and CFR China prices. This was partially corrected by the drop in
FOB Korea's prices at the end of week. The key downstream paraxylene
markets fell $25/mt week-on-week to $1,004.50/mt CFR Taiwan/China. Meanwhile,
