week■ The prices fall in weaker markets■ Nearly two-and-a-half-month high at the end of the weekAsian isomer MX increased $72/mt to
$1.069/mt FOB Korea. It also rose $68.50/mt $1,069/mt CFR Taiwan, and $24.50/mt
$992/mt CFR China Oct. 7. Prices
fell as other markets, including those in the same industry, were under
pressure despite continued increases in crude oil prices. The spread between the products was at its highest level at
$55/mt. PX rose $2/mt to $1,124/mt on Oct. 6, while MX fell by $3/mt. PX producers thought it was far from a profitable price. MX dropped Oct. 7, after reaching its highest level in
