$13-$18/mt higher at $996-$1010/mt FOB Korea, and $997-$1017/mt CFR Taiwan. It
also rose $2-$3/mt to $968-$1008/mt CFR China Oct. 14, following firmer
December Brent crude oil futures and better demand. According to a source, the
market for isomer MX was tight. With the USGC-FOB Korea spread on isomer's MX
on October 13, the spread will likely widen. He expects that demand from the US
Gulf Coast will continue to rise. On Oct.
13, the FOB USGC mixed-xylene price was 446c/gallon, or $1,353-$1,,380/mt. This
is up 20c/gallon ($60.7-$65.10/mt). On
