Covestro completes maintenance at MDI plant

Covestro has brought on stream its Methylene diphenyl isocyanate (MDI) plant in Uerdingen. A source in Germany informed a team member, “The company has resumed operations at the plant in mid-July 2025 following a turnaround. The plant was shut for maintenance in end May 2025.” Located in Uerdingen, Germany, the MDI plant has a production capacity of 200,000 mt/year.
