trade heard at $1,130-1,175/mtIsomer MX was down $41-45/mt today at
$1.134-2.250/mt FOB Korea and $1.156-2.525/mtCfR Taiwan on March 4. Sources said
that despite the volatility in crude oil, Iso MX supply and demand remain tight
for April cargoes market. Accordingly. A bid for
any April cargo was heard for the last time at $1,133-1,175/mt FOB Korea. The ICE May Brent crude futures contract closed at $111-120/b
at 4.30pm Singapore time. This was lower than its Asian closing of $118-135/b. Paraxylene physicals prices fall by $49-55/mt daily to $1,220-1,250/mt.
On a CFR Taiwan/China base, the current PX-MX spread narrowed down to $87/mt
from $95/mt during previous assessments. Spread
