Iso-MX inches up by $1/mt March cargoes see upsides

MX was valued at $1/mt higher day-on-day at $969/mt-$980/mt FOB Korea and
$990/mt-$995 CFR Taiwan, respectively. It was also assessed at $979/mt-$985/mt
CFR China on Feb.8.The easing crude oil prices slowed market activity and made
it slower than usual. The ICE April Brent crude oil
futures contract was trading at $91.85/b-$91.90/b at 4:30 PM Singapore time.
This is a decrease from the previous Asian closing of $92.56/b-$95.60/b. A bid for any March cargo was last heard at $968/mt-$975/mt
FOB Korea during the Market on the Close assessment process. No offers were
received. As more Chinese players return
from the Lunar New Year holidays and blending demand continues to be strong,
short-term demand will trend higher. Another
