ACETONE: US spot Acetone was
evaluated stable at $728/mt FOB USG Nov. 1, taking into account an indication
heard at $730/mt. Domestic
acetone contract assessment for truck or railcar was 44.5 cents/lb (981/mt), in
line with stability in spot market. PHENOL:
US spotphenol was stable at $1,052/mt FOB USG November 1. Last-heard pricing of benzene plus an additional 8.5
cents/lb informed the assessment. Domestic
phenol assessments for truck and railcar were $1,816/mt (82.37c/lb delivered on
the week), pending confirmation of contracts. IPA: US isopropyl alcohol fell $10/mt during the week to
$1,090/mt FOB US Gulf. This takes into account talk of pricing below $1,100/mt. Domestic prices fell $10/mt to $1,278/mt in line with the
