The Asian styrene monmer market prices
edged up at the tail-end of the week due to expectations that COVID-19
regulations could ease. East China saw ex-tank supplies prompt to H2
February laycan trade increasing by $24-$27/mt. Prices for other
commodities were also higher, according to local sources. The CFR China styrene prices are at $940-$960/mt. This is an
increase of $33-$38/mt. FOB China price for styrene was at $980-$1000/mt.
A source said that two parcels were sent from Southeast Asia to load H1
November and H2 November. These cargoes were priced below $1,000-$1,040/mt. According to India, the demand is slow as there are few
buyers towards the end of this year. For
H2 November arrival cargoes there were offers at $1,000-$1,035/mt, and one at
