Indian Oil Signs MOU with Government of Odisha to Rs61,077 Crore Mega Petrochemical Project at Paradip

Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., (IndianOil), signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Odisha in order to build a world class Petrochemical Complex in Paradip. In the presence of Mr Hardeep Singh Puri (Hon'ble Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas), Mr Dharmendra Pradosh, Hon’ble Minister for Education, Mr Mohan Charan Majhi (Hon'ble Chief Minster, Odisha) and other dignitaries, The upcoming complex is expected to house a dual feed cracker, along with downstream units, for the production of a wide range of petrochemicals, including Phenol and Polypropylene. The partnership, according to Mr Maji, will help drive Odisha’s industrial growth, create jobs, and promote the state as a leading investment destination. A. S.
