Price discussions in the Indian polyvinyl chloride market strengthened in the week to July 29 amid higher offers and trades, as well as the government’s new minimum import price regulation. the CFR India PVC suspension grade at $825/ mt on July 29, up $65/mt week over week, below the lowest offer at $830/mt, after two deals were reported at $830/mt and $860/ mt CFR India. The assessment was below offers heard in the $850-$860/mt range and above a tradable indication from a buyer at $820/mt. Additionally, offers and deals heard in the $740-$820/mt range were not considered, as they could not be corroborated with the wider market.
