India PVC: CFR India prices increase amid higher numbers albeit low demand / Monsoon season dampens end-user demand / June imports from China reach 90,946 mt

The price discussions in the Indian polyvinyl chloride market rose in the week to July 22 amid higher offers and trades heard. Energy, assessed CFR India PVC suspension grade at $760/metric ton on July 22, up $30/mt week over week, where a selling indication from a producer heard in the $760-$770/mt range and a tradable indication from a buyer at $760/mt met. The assessment is also below offers in the $780- $830/mt range. Additionally, offers heard in the $690-$730/mt range were not considered, as they couldn’t be corroborated with the wider market.
