The US spot export polyvinylchloride prices
were unchanged for the week of June 15, despite stable pricing and continuing
problems getting packed volumes onto ships for export. Based on the last deal,
prices were set at $1620-$1,630/mt FAS Houston. An additional $20-25/mt was
added to cover higher costs for drayage trucking, packaged volume storage in
warehouses, and the higher cost of shipping. The range is not inclusive of additional freight costs,
insurance, and margins. Domestic PVC
prices were also assessed flat at 99. 5-101. Based on stable pricing indications, 5 cents/lb. The market
was considering a 3 cents/lb increase. According
