Hyosung Vina Chemicals is in plans to take its propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit off stream in Cai Mep. A source in Vietnam informed a team member, “The company is likely to shut down its unit by end-October, 2025 for maintenance. The unit is expected to remain offline for approximately 6 to 7 weeks. However, no official confirmation has been received from authorized sources.” Located in Cai Mep, Vietnam, the unit has a propylene production capacity of 600,000 mt/year.
