Prices in the Asian benzene markets climbed
day by day on Feb. 10, as a result of higher expectations of materials moving
from Northeast Asia. FOB
Korea benzene physical markers rose to $967.67/mt Feb 10, moving close the
previous high point of $991.33/mt Jan 27. The
March/April physical spread increased to $10-15/mt, marking the end of
declaration. A $962-975/mt offer for April-loading FOB Korean cargo capped the
increase. At 0802 GMT, a $955-970/mt offer
was made for April laycan. It was not repeated. According to a source, some March parcels were slated for
