expects a new complex to start-up by year-end: CFO



Spot export pricing of linear
low-density, polyethylene was either flat or slightly lower on the week. Market
sources indicated that resin availability is constantly tightening in February. Spot
LLDPE Butene was valued at $1,422-$1,444/mt (64.5-75.5 cents/lb), which is
unchanged from week to week. LLDPE hexene remained
stable at $1,620-1,642/mt (73.5-74.5). LLDPE
metallocene was however down $11 over the week. It was assessed at
$1.554-$1,576/mt (70.75-71.5 cents/lb), with pricing at 67-68cs/lb. To account for transport and packaging, the FAS assessment
adds an additional 3.5c/lb. The premium
has increased from 3 cents per lb due to logistical problems such as a shortage
