HDPE: Prices rise slightly due to higher discussions- December demand

in South Asia stableThe Asian high density polyethylene price rose
slightly due to higher discussions during the week ending Nov. 30. China's
SINOPEC, a global chemical producer INEOS, are planning to construct a new
500,000 mt/year high-density joint venture polyethylene plant in Tianjin. This
joint venture will be a 50/50 joint venture and is expected to go online by
2023. INEOS released a statement on July 28. The companies will also build
two additional 500,000 mt/year HDPE plant to produce INEOS pipe grade, INEOS stated
in the statement. According to market sources, China is currently in
deficit with PE. However, South Asia's prices are stable. According
to market participants, most Indian producers have offered discounts and price
