Ineos and Sinopec Tianjin will start a new HDPE plant at the end of 2023The
Asian high density polyethylene price rose slightly due to higher discussions
during the week ending Dec. 21. Sources said that inventories were low and
this accounts for the increase in buying activity. According to Ineos' and
Sinopec's Tianjin Nangang Ethanol project in Tianjin (China), the company
released a statement. It includes a Ningbo-based high-density polyethylene
plant that produces 500,000 mt/year. This unit is also the first to be produced
Ineos' HDPE pipe-grade with Sinopec in China. Each of the three HDPE
plants will be capable of producing 500,000 mt/year Ineos pipe-grade HDPE with
