Hanwha TotalEnergies to operate cracker at near optimum rates

Hanwha TotalEnergies Petrochemical (HTC) is in plans to run its cracker at near optimum capacity levels. A source in South Korea informed a team member, “The company is expected to run the cracker at around 95% of production capacity rates through November-December 2025.” Located in Daesan, South Korea, the cracker has an ethylene production capacity of 1.55 million mt/year and propylene production capacity of 805,000 mt/year.
