Asian MTBE fell $26/mt on the day to
$906/mt FOB Singapore on Sept. 15, tracking gasoline prices which dropped
despite higher crude oil prices. The
MTBE factor stood at 1.107 on the day. There were no offers or bids during the
Market on Close evaluation process on Sept. 15. The November ICE Brent crude oils futures contract rose 60c
per day to $93.48/barrel by 0830 GMT Asian close. While the RON 92 FOB
Singapore marker dropped $2.77/b, to $96.83/b. The RON 92 crude oil crack fell 50.15% to $3.35/b. Cracks for higher ROMs 95 & 97 shrank by 32.5%, and
27.9% respectively.
