Asian toluene gained $11/mt on the day at
$988.50/mt FOB Korea. It was up $10/mt on Aug. 25, at $964/mt CFR China. This
was due to continued demand for H2 September-loading cargoes and tight supply. According to a Chinese
trader, FOB China offers averaged $1,030-$1,050/mt and sellers were not in
hurry to sell. According to him, demand in
South China is also stronger than in east China, and some cargoes are being moved
from the east into the south. Asian
gasoline crack spreads fell to a two-week low on Aug. 24, despite the
