Isomer-MX was valued at $80-85/mt at $1.286-2.250/mt FOB Korea and
$1.308-2.525/mt CFI Taiwan on March 9. Early afternoon sentiment was bullish, following gains in
both upstream and downstream markets. FOB Korea cargoes prices were also bid
up. Market on Close evaluation process revealed that any April cargo trade was
last heard at $1.285-2.250/mt FOB Korea. A
bid for any April cargo was then last heard at $1.285-2.250/mt FOB Korea. Crude futures prices surged after the US placed a ban on
Russian energy products, and the UK made the commitment to
"phase-out" its imports from Russian crude oil by 2022. This was due
to concerns about global oil producers' inability to increase production. The ICE May Brent crude oil futures contract closed...
