Toluene prices fell amid a fall
in nearby markets and crude oil on September 1. The marker then rolled over to
take the average for the first half and the second half of October. FOB Korea toluene fell
$7.5/mt to $974/mt CFR FOB Korea, considering that trade was done at $974/mt
FOB Korea for any October loading of 2,000-mt containers of ASTMD-841 toluene. Market on Close offered $975/mt for the assessment. November ICE Brent crude oil dropped $3.23/b, to $94.18/b by
0830 GMT in Asian trading. Yuan 7.850/mt
was the prompt domestic east China ex tank price. This equates to $986.04/mt if
you use import-parity. The Chinese
