A few consumers request spot butadiene Limited export demand heard



According to sources, domestic butadiene demand in Europe grew during
the week to 22 April. This was despite falling energy and naphtha prices. Market participants pointed out that energy and naphtha prices
had fallen during the CP discussion on April 17. However, the rollover
agreement was based on domestic supply-demand dynamics. Market sources agreed that planned turnarounds and
production outages would continue to affect supply throughout April and May. According to Shell Moerdijk, the butadiene production unit
of Shell Moerdijk was back in normal operation and producing material according
