March spot stable at 122.5 cents/gal FOB USG USITC export data released



US spot methanol
prices were stable on February 9, despite high offer indications for February
and March, with no trades reported that day. February spot methanol was flat at 122.5c/gal FOB USG, which
is below the February methanol offer of 126c/gal FOB ITC. March methanol was also flat at 122.5c/gal FOB USG, as the
assessment fell below the March methanol offer of 125c/gal FOB ITTC. According to one market participant, they expect market
activity will remain low throughout the week and that there will be little or
no trades. According to a second source,
