Hanwha TotalEnergies to take No.2 EVA plant off stream

Hanwha TotalEnergies Petrochemical is likely to undertake a planned shutdown at its No.2 Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) plant in Daesan. A source in South Korea informed a team member, “The company is in plans to halt operations at the plant by the second half of August 2025 for maintenance. The exact date and duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Daesan, South Korea, the No.2 plant has a production capacity of 280,000 mt/year.
