on Sept. 29, on the back of gains in crude oil futures and a strengthening MTBE
factor. November

GMT in Asian trading. Naphtha rose $17-23/mt to $664-680/mt CIF Japan. The Market on Close assessment process on September 29 saw
Trafigura sell into Vitol's bid of 3,000 mt to load October 14-18 at $907-920/mt.
This resulted in the factor rising 0.029 points to 1.196. According to market sources, an MTBE plant had been
restarted in Malaysia and was being used by the refiner company to make
