The US spot export mono ethylene
glylcol prices dropped on May 6th, amid speculation of greater availability in
the region. The prices were set at 25.5-26.5c/lb FOB
USGC. The pricing was discussed in a
range, with prices as high as 29c FOB, which is about one cent less than the
week before. Pricing was expected to
remain stable in the short term due to key supplier maintenances. However, at the least one buyer indicated that there was
more supply in regional markets. A source
