European spot mixedxylene premiums
increased by $20/mt, to $220/mt, in the week to February 17, with rising
demand. However, market participants said that demand was still higher
than available. Source stated that demand is low but
supply is even less. Sources said that MX was not readily available
and no one has been producing it. This has offset the lower demand for gasoline blenders
because of the narrow gasoline-naphtha spread. "For
the next two weeks we will have extraordinary demand MX," one source

out of China, which is putting pressure on the prices. The source
