clear flake price drops. Although
the gap between recycler and consumer price ideas was widening this week, low
spot demand and abundant clear flakes led to a slight shift in price
expectations for recyclers. Although the
outlook was bleak for November, most sources agreed that prices will soon
bottom as rising energy costs offer a floor. The fundamentals of mixed colored flakes were somewhat
stronger due to tighter supply and low feedstock availability. However,
