the week ending February 8, European recycled LDPE markets saw another round in
price corrections for lower-grade material. This was due to a longer market and
increased material availability. It is not sustainable for recyclers to
have machines that aren't producing right. A converter stated. A
converter stated that winter production had continued into January on the
European market. He also added that recycled LDPE volumes in Europe had
increased since February's beginning due to stronger run rates. Even
though there was more supply, the demand for recycled LDPE in Europe remained
