European monoethylene glycol February contract was signed at Eur830/mt
(913/mt), an increase of Eur40/mt over January. Following an increase in
upstream costs, the initial European glycols February settlement was reached at
Eur830/mt ($913/mt) following the February ethylene industry-settled monthly
CP. This was Eur85/mt higher than the Eur1,260/mt. At the time of publication, however, no full February
contract price settlement was reached. Although
imports to the European market were delayed for a few days, participants said
they weren't concerned due to the availability of good material. A distributor stated that although imports may be delayed
