prices fell on Jan. 11 in Europe, as buyers made purchases the previous night
saw lower pricing due to ample supply. A trader stated that the market's
interest had declined on the day after the trades. This was due to a
lackluster buy interest the day before. The European market was still
available despite a series of outages at European plants as well as lower run
rates due to increased energy costs. The forward loading laycan was
$1,283.75/mt FOB AR, down $31.50/mt each day. This continued to exert pressure
on the spread between Styrene/Benzene which narrowed to $435.75/mt.European
