ABS: The demand drops further in November-  Demand

European acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene market remained sluggish in the week
to Nov. 9, with activity limited. One European producer stated that
"I believe there's simply no demand." After the European summer
holiday season ended, there was no sustained increase in demand. In
September and October, there was a relatively weak demand. It slowed further in
November's opening days. One seller stated Nov. 9 that November
"looks like the worst month [of] the year." There was hope among
sellers that there would be an increase in order activity even though November
started slowly. Market participants across the value chain were reported
to have tried to reduce buying appetite by destocking before the end of the
