Market activity in the Asia Pacific region crude complex increased across crude and condensate segments on May 15. QatarEnergy, in the region's condensate market, sold between two and three 500,000 barrel cargoes (FOB) of its low sulfur condensate to be loaded in July through its monthly spot auction at prices ranging from small discounts up to flat rates for front-month Dubai crude assessments. The results of the refiner’s concurrent term bid, which closed on May 13, are still unknown. QatarEnergy sold two 500,000 barrel cargoes of LSC to ExxonMobil for loading in June, with discounts ranging from small to flat against the benchmark.
