After a sharp rise in
feedstock prices, Asia's propylene price remained stable in March 9. The
market did not see a rise in crude oil prices. May ICE Brent crude crude
futures were at $130.41-145.20/b at 4:45 pm Singapore time (0830 GMT) and up
$4.72-5.25/b over the Asian close. Industry
sources claim that producers are being pressured to increase their offers due
to rising feedstock prices like naphtha or LPG amid high volatility in the
crude oil markets as a result of the Ukraine crisis. The selling indications ranged from $1,300 to $1,350/mt CFR
